saw them in the new CI mag yesterday and wondered the same thing. They've been box aged 8 years! They have to be just amazing! Two boxes for $40

Yep, me too, thats why I asked if anyone tried them after seeing them in CI's mag. I may have to place an order just for fun. Heck who knows, They may be a good yard cigar.... and maybe not...

at $20 a box.. I'd be willing to give them a try...

If they absolutely suck.. very little is lost..

If they are even remotely decent... at $1 a stick.. they'd be something to hand out to the boys on poker night.. or pass around the winter fire pit to non-smokers who just want something to puff on, etc but arent really going to pay any attention to the smoke (or care)....

You know, I know it's kinda rare for a cigar lover but there is a place for most smokes in my life. Only time I won't smoke something is if it's an absolute dog rocket. My opinion of dog rocket may be different than others though. I have been known to slum it when I'm feeling feisty though. I may pair it with Wild Irish Rose...

Screw it! Curiosity has the best of me. I'm ordering the Lancero. Can't be any worse than Hoshy's damn UnderCrown pictures.....
True but we didn't pay for any of those pics. (In fact, I would pay to unsee some of them.)

Haha! I hear the wrapper is soaked in special oils from the farming process. I hear the back story is absolutely riveting. I am pretty sure that story might include sheep... Bahhhh....

Sorry for going off topic but my daughters played in the Babe Ruth Softball World Series in Lamar in Aug. of 2011.
No apologies necessary. That's very cool! It's kinda a big deal around here to host it. Not the nicest place on earth but we have a quaint little town (if one doesn't mind the occasional feedlot smell when the wind blows right). Hope they did well!

No.

Just.... no.
yeah, but royal gold (which is i think the official swisher sub-company for premiums) is having a line done by plasencia (who does 262, IIRC, and a shit ton of other stuff, and has for a while), and is having a line done by DE. yup, JD is making a line for swisher. i will try any premium once.

also, those smokes on CI are probably from swisher's last (very poor) attempt to get into premiums. but dave has a point, at a buck a pop, if you need filler, couldn't hurt.
