Weird right?... but it's true. Freaking injuries. Thank god for hockey.

Hello all. Noob from Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. I got into cigars about a year or two ago.... and am hooked. Trying to find my way through the plethora of wrappers and fillers, acronyms and accessories. So far I've just gone through and picked out samplers and singles from local B&M's. I like a more full flavor cigar... I'll have wallet friendly Diesel on my commute to work with my coffee... and a maduro with my bourbon after. Right now, i'm really enjoying the San Lotano The Bull. I'm a sucker for a box-press as it has no chance of rolling off when i'm fishing.

I'm an army vet, bourbon fan, and is most often found in my fishing kayak smoking, because I am terrible at fishing.

Thanks in advance for any tips you can give me. Next on my list is Drew Estate Undercrown. good or bad choice?

glad to be here.

Welcome from New Hampshire. I personally love the undercrown. And Liga Privada for that matter. Actually any Drew Estate. Haha but it really is just preference.

Welcome from the northwest, I am also worried about Cutler as Brandon Marshall is part of my push to make my fantasy playoffs for the first time ever

Welcome brother - I too am in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, an avid bourbon drinker, and worried about Cutler. Unfortunately though I am not fisherman :( My kids love it though! The Undercrown is a fantastic smoke - perhaps we can meet up at B&M or my garage (every Sunday is spent watching football and drinking) and I'll happily pass a Undercrown on to you.

Depends. How much do you like not being broke? Cause if you like not being broke, don't try a Liga.

lol, welcome. If you like the Diesel, the Undercrown will fit your profile It has similar flavors, though it might be a bit sweeter and a touch creamier. I'd recommend the Corona Viva myself.

I concur with the posts above. LP can be pricey...albeit tasty.....cigars. The Undercrown is a great smoke! What bourbon do you prefer? Welcome from the Jersey Shore by the way!!!

Welcome from NY! Like it has been stated above. If you like your money dont try too many Ligas haha. This is a great place to make friends. The community is very open armed and willing to give advice anytime you need it. I learn new things every day. Fishing is one of my favorite things though I do not get to do it often, and you will find quite the masters of bourbon here (though I am not one).

Thanks everyone. @dscl, I'm actually from Crystal Lake so maybe I'll take you up on that offer. I know LITH fairly we'll. as far as Bourbon is concerned, I'm a Woodford Reserve fan, but have recently enjoyed Four Roses small batch and for the money, Buffalo Trace.
