Yes per Drew Estate Rules although I'm not sure everyone that entered actually bought a box but I could be wrong.

I find that kind of messed up.

Seems both of the Halloween events had some funkiness about them. At CdM you had to buy a box of DE product to be able to buy a bundle of UF-4 ... Turns out Jonathan Drew and the crew didn't really know about this.

Seems they knew at this event what the contest rules were.

If you go directly to the Giveaways on their site it says nothing about purchasing anything to enter.

So it looks like if you went to a Halloween Party you got roped into buying something. When you could have just went on their website and entered for free.
