Last March I sprung for a 3000 cigar cabinet humidor to increase my capacity over the 300 cigar desktop I’ve been using for years. I wanted the option of buying a box of cigars any time I wanted and not have to worry about how to store them. Now I have this thing almost full and am taking cigars out of boxes and wrapping them with a stretchy band so I can fit more cigars in the cabinet. At some point I may have to get another cabinet. There are so many good deals out there and I love having a good selection to draw from.

My neighbors smoke some cheap cigars so once in a while I provide them a cigar or two they never knew existed. They are awed at how good my cigars are. I tell them life is too short for cheap cigars, cheap scotch (or bourbon), or cheap (add your own here).

That is a nice unit. I looked at probably the same one but I still have that idea in my head of exactly what I want.

Yeah, this is when I first got it. Here I'm letting it season for a few days before I put my babies in it. I bought a Humi-Care XG1000 Pro and a bunch of cigars that you can see in this picture. I've since taken the cigars out of the boxes and wrapped them like a bail and store them this way. I can get more storage and I believe the air gets to them easily.

I guess I've been lucky in having a supporting wife on the matter. I try to limit myself to a box buy at a time. Currently running out of space in the 3, 8 bottle winedors, and then cooler, and then Tupperware. When I started, I started with a 15 count travel humidor thinking that it would fulfill my needs just fine. And honestly it did. for a week......

I want to look into another (bigger) wineador, but then think of all the nonsense I've acquired over the year, and then think I want to get a cabinet. But then I think I should just build a walk in or something.... Damn this thing! This is the worst time of year too.. seems like everything gets released right now. After about February I seem to just chill out and sit on things for a while.

When I read slippery slope, I didnt think the slope had ice, and WD-40 sprayed on it......

That is a purdy humi, CCMax!

Good luck man!
