Thanks to all of your help and expertise my coolidor is complete and works perfectly.

I have a 70qt coleman xtreme cooler that I scrubbed with distilled vinegar and washed a few times. Then let it airdry in the sun for a few days and left some baking soda in it with the top shut.

4 cedar trays from cheaphumidors.com along with some other wooden cigar boxes and it is great.

I have 1 pound of Heartfelt 65% RH beads split into two mesh bags inside along with 1 65% boveda pack and a hygroset II. Holds right at 65/65 all day long. Probably even more consistent now since we are getting some cooler weather here in southern california.

Thanks again for all the help BOTLs!

Looking good Ethan. Been thinking of doing something similar, but I don't think I have enough boxes yet. If I have all that empty space I will want to fill it and that will cost too much money.

As long as the boxes are cedar, and not cardboard. You want as much cedar in the cooler as you can get!

just get empty boxes to fill the voids until you do fill it
+1 Rac, they will help regulate the humidity better each time you take a peek. I did this with my sealed boxes and filled 3/4 full the rest with empties. Works pretty slick. Have peeked 4 times over the last 3 days and its holding steady at 64% 66F. About 2lbs of KL in there did the trick. It's awesome! Do it!

Can you turn your trays the other way in the cooler?
Unfortunately they are just a little bit too long to turn them the other way. On the next go around i think the 120qt will be the go to
Thanks man. i know the 100qt you can, I almost pulled the trigger on a 70, glad I didn't. Now I just gotta figure out if the 80 will allow it.

Yea when i am taking my trays out they sit (how you want them) into the top lip of the cooler perfectly while i get something from the trays underneath if you know what i mean. I think they are only a couple inches too long to fit that way in the actual cooler itself. I bet with the 80 you should be good. Try to find cooler inner dimensions online or go into a store. I can send you tray measurements if needed!

You are spot on!

In my pics above guys most of the boxes are currently empty. They are just there to help regulate the RH. I am always opening my coolidor and grabbing stuff and along with the heartfelt beads it recovers very quickly.
