a big BIG damn tat for me and a CoLa for dustin on the trip up. rolled up to finally meet javaman. round of good bourbon for the boys (and me with my coffee!), a full round of ERdM lons (?) from like 99 or 00, and a cojonu 06. wonderful evening, and well past time.

for the record, dustinspo is the guy with the glasses, kev is the guy with the facial hair, and i'm the one with the dapper suit and the tattoo of the wee baby seamus. i think. it's late.

I had the same experience as you. Not really impressed ROTT but it has certainly gotten much better with a little age. The 2nd third was almost cubanesque. It fell a little flat in the last 2 inches though. All in all I was pretty impressed.
