I'm a 28 (damn, almost 29!) year old prosecutor in NYC... Married, THREE kids... I play tennis weekly, golf once or twice a year, and I suppose the only other passion (other than family & my work & cigars) is my wet-shaving habit... I swear it gets me out of bed every morning. If you're interested in that at all (using double-edged steel blades and silver-tipped badger to lather up an aromatic slick), check out the forums at badgerandblade.

Been working for the same company since 1993. Started doing office and clerical work for 3-4 years, been in sales of architectural and engineering, GIS and mapping for those CAD supplies for wide format printers and plotters. My third year became the top sales person and remained on top ever since.

Been married since 1994 to my loving bride, Jeana. We have a great daughter named Carly. Live in a nice sized 3 bedroom, 3 level home. Sits on a 1/4 acre lot that allows our 2 dogs to roam as they please. We have a Schipperke named Jack who is 1.5 years young and an Australian Sheppard named Neuron who is about 2. Came with an above ground pool 24' round and 3' deep.

Been doing volunteer fire department where I am from since 1991. I ride the ladder truck and any of the 4 engines we have. I am also an EMT-B since 1995. I am now trying to become a driver of those engines now that I am getting a little older. Seen things most people never have and hopefully never will.

Hobbies include the fire department, fantasy football, poker, and of course smoking and collecting cigars. Been smoking cigars for about 3 years, more serious in the last 2, and went completely nuts since the beginning of this year. Most my other hobbies have suffered since the cigar habit and collection has started.

Hey guys,

I'm a manager of a major grocery store chain and in my spare time I love playing golf while smoking a great cigar.

I am 39, disabled with chronic illness, so I basically just sit here too, smoking my pipes and cigars and :computer:

Well, ok, I do manage to read a lot, practice a little Highland broadsword and Irish stickfighting when I feel up to it (nothing heavy duty, I just practice what would be called "forms" in Eastern martial arts), study European history, and I am very into Irish language and culture as you can probably tell. <need Guinness and/or sword emoticon>

I also study Latin a bit, and am learning to play fiddle (trad Irish, mostly, of course, to which I also enjoy listening). <need fiddler emoticon>

I used to brew beer, but it got too much for me and I had to give it up. But when I did brew, I made the best homebrew in the world, even just using malt extracts.

Most important of all, I am a devout Catholic. I am single and celibate, and live in virtual poverty. I do a lot of spiritual reading, and chant the Divine Office every day, pray the rosary every day, go to mass every Sunday and a couple times a week. Basically, I live the life of a semi-monk, one who lives in the world instead of a monastary.

So, just your basic, ordinary guy. :skew: :crosseyed

Pretty much covered it in my intro, but maybe a couple more things....

I work in the hi-tech industry and have been with the same company since 1978. Well, not technically true, since my original company was recently bought by a larger company well known for it's Java & Solaris software.

I usually smoke about 3 cigars a day during the workweek. My commute is about 45 mins, so I smoke one on the way in, one on the way home and one after dinner. Weekends find me burning through 4-5 sticks/day usually. I like most all marcas & vitolas, but tend towards fuller bodied smokes of 44-50 rg most of the time. Oldest stick I've smoked is a 1978 ERDM Lonsdale, freshest was one rolled by Pepin Garcia at this year's RTDA. I let it sit all of 12 days before I fired it up! It just kept calling to me when I'd open the humi. Occasionaly I'll fire up one of my pipes - winter seems to be when I enjoy that the most.

Other passions include my handguns. I'm a big fan of Kimber 1911's. Goose hunting is what I really enjoy in the winter. If it wasn't for that I'd probably be living in Florida or Hawaii so I could live on my sailboat. I restored a 1976 Venture Newport sailboat a couple years ago and spend weekends on it at my home puddle about 15 minutes from the house from April through Sept.

What really consumes most of my free time though is cigars. I spend about 5-6 hours a week preparing for the Friday night recording session of the podcast (I know, ....if you listen you can't possibly believe I spend that much prep time!). A couple hours late night on Friday and the show is "in the can". Bob does all the post-production on the weekend & then I give it a final listen. When we screw up the editing you can blame me for missing it! Other than the show, I spend lots of time reading everything I can about cigars and the industry. I am a member of 4 other cigar boards, with CS and VCC getting most of my attention so far. My humidors probably hold about 80 singles and 8-10 boxes most of the time. I'm about to begin a serious campaign to collect and age many, many more.

Ok, you can wake up now....I'm done!
