I will bro, I have all sorts of alerts but I'm still waiting to see the worst. I am hearing it's crazy. It seem like in Northern Indiana we always luck out.
Tornado came a mile from my house- tore half of a boat dealership apart and ripped a few signs down around town. Surprisingly, wind was no more than 30 mph at my house and I stood outside and watched the whole thing.
No serious damage in my immediate area but the same tornado killed at least one in southern Illinois about and hour before it hit us.
That is scary. Yeah, I am pretty sure we had a tornado close. The wind was insane. I was outside and I had a hard time standing. If it says anything I had a bucket of bricks on the roof of my shed. Still flew off.
Trying to attach a pic from a mile down the road- we were right in the path- don't know how it did this and then 30 seconds later didn't even kick up all that much wind at my house- short burst for a minute or so
We got pretty lucky in Joliet. High winds but all the tornados were just south of us. People in our surrounding area are finding debris from southern IL. Pics, bills, paperwork, etc. Messed up.
I'm in Central Michigan and we had sheets of rain whipping down our street for a while and lost power for about five hours last night. Some of my shingles are gone and I have some tar paper missing but no other damage. I'm glad I have a fireplace! I have some family in the Kalamazoo area and they got nailed again by the high winds.
