Greetings, all!

I'm a total novice, and don't enjoy very often (4 times this year), but did have one horrible experience that led me here.
What I'm looking for is a great community that can offer real-world advice, and hopefully a few get-togethers in my area. As I mentioned, I'm a novice and have but one lowly stick drying out in my room :dunno:, hoping to start a very small collection of 5-7.

I'm looking forward to another pastime, thank you!

Welcome. Good luck having a collection of 5-7 cigars. I started with a 20 ct. Humidor, and well, now I have almost a 100 times that. Doesn't mean everyone is as compulsive as me. Sit back and enjoy, lots of good guys here.

Spring strong sweet tall green grass grow...
:welcome: from MN!
As others have stated,"Good luck!"
I'm about 6 months in to the hobby with an overflowing wineador and a pipe baccy habit that looks to be growing just as fast. It's all downhill from here - jump on in!:D
Tell us more about yourself.
What do you do?
What do you enjoy outside of cigars?

Welcome from PA ….. If my calculations are correct, I have found 5-7 cigars = 57 cigars = 570 cigars = 5700 cigars and so on and on and on …..You picked a good spot to develop another past time ENJOY!

That's why I joined, too. Have already gotten some great information and had some good conversations.

Welcome!
Cigars are a great hobby...Hope your interest blossoms from a bad experience into something fun for you.

Two small pieces of advice....

Don't get overwhelmed
There is a ton of information out there, surrounding the hundreds of cigar brands....Don't let it overwhelm you!
Have fun
After all, it's supposed to be fun, so don't get caught up in the slippery slope of spending outside your boundaries just to get the latest hot cigar. Just experiment, find what you like, and enjoy the cigars you decide to smoke.

Happy Thanksgiving!
