Even better. Thanks for the clarification Goldwing.

Read the maduros were treated (not infused) with a syrup. Since I plan on picking up a fiver to taste, did you take any special precautions when storing?

Those look nice! You got any info on them?

Via Havana Maduro, El Morro 6x52 emmmm yummy :applause:

Has one of the best maduro wrappers I have ever smoke, just sweet enough and very flavorful
I've hear there is real Cuban tobacco in them also
Thanks
I believe what your referring to is the Maduro Dulce, really sucked with the infused sweetness, but the regular maduro is heaven and the Connecticut so-so

So I just blind bought a box of dirty rats because i couldn't pass up the price at retail, and i smokes one tonight and to be honest, wasn't quite my thing. I've given a few away but i have about 7 left. Is there a giveaway or trades thread somewhere that i haven't noticed? I saw there was a trade forum but theres nothing in there

There is a trade forum, after something like 30 days and 30 posts it will open up for you.

That said, I have found that Dirty Rats IMO need down time to mellow out a bit or it is just a blast of Nicotine, like a year or more. Sorry you didn't enjoy.

Awesome news! … interesting! I read somewhere tho that the unicos sit for 2 years before shipping and that they were good to go out of the box but perhaps they need even more time. A blast of nico is exactly what i got too haha ill hold onto one or two for a year or so and see, and ship away the rest. THANKS

keep in mind the rat is supposed to be a ball-buster. and i DO love them for it! but all the liga line has shown interesting behavior when aged. dig around, there are several preexisting threads on "liga, to age or smoke fresh", and many MANY differing opinions. but a year down or more may take the sting off them.

Sorry, but I call BS on that one, hoss. It may very well be a great cigar, but that's just very hard to believe that they somehow are magically using Cuban grown tobacco in their Costa Rican rolled cigars & are then legally selling them in the US.

"We're not supposed to talk about it, but after I imply that there's real Cuban grown tobacco in these, I'll go ahead & give you 30% off to sweeten the pot". LOL. :)

"Mr. Thread Count"?!?! Just might have to use that for my new nickname! BWHAHAHA.

Now that is some BS right there, I'm betting this guy used to be a used car salesman before he started selling cigars.....................

Most of the Unico line as well as the T52 line gets smoother and just plain awesome with age. Great example being a box of T52 toros from 09 that are very smooth and creamy right now.

When you state innuendo as fact, you'll get called on it here - that's the bottom line, chief. So if you think they're the greatest cigars since sliced bread, that's awesome, but don't say they're something they're not.

I'm sorry you feel that way, man. Saying that you "heard" that there is genuine Cuban grown tobacco in a Non-Cuban cigar that's rolled in Costa Rica perpetuates myths and could possibly make other inexperienced members maybe be "taken" by something that says that it is something that it just plain isn't. I don't see how asking for proof of that statement that you made can come off as "ego win garbage", but you're entitled to your opinion. I hope you reconsider & stick around because this really is a great place for cigar lovers.
