As a relatively new smoker and BOTL I'm like a student in his/her favorite class eager to learn more and to be a sponge for all of this new knowledge that I gain scouring the internet for Cigar Blogs and most importantly BOTL. I thank you all for helping put a smile on my face every night that I turn on my iPad, light up a stogie and read about all of the crazy acts of kindness with "bombs" and such! On this Christmas I will be smoking a few really nice Cigars - an FFP for sure! Next year I hope to be a more active participant in this wonderful Brotherhood! Cheers!
Props for calling it a stogie. Always wondered why people here refer to them as smokes rather than those or cigars, kind of cheapens the activity by relating it to something else.

Anyway, hope you enjoy that FFP.

It's hard to know now what I'm going to smoke then. But a My Father LE 2010 would probably be a good holiday smoke.

I rarely plan an "occasion" cigar and don't even remember smoking a cigar on Christmas. Christmas is family time for me and I'd rather keep the wife/family happy and not go smoke a cigar for an hour and half outside. If I didn't have fun with my wife's family/relatives, I would probably answer that differently. LOL

With that said, I am actually planning an "occasion" cigar coming up after Christmas when I'm down in Mexico. It will be my 10 year wedding anniversary and we will be without the kids... the cigar I will be bringing has a nice second band on it that says something like EL 2003. :) In remembrance of our wedding in 2003.

Although I am mostly off Viaje I am interested in their Holiday Blend Christmas tree. I won't be the least bit surprised to find out that packaging is better than the cigar is but WTF it gets ya in the holiday spirit if nothing else.

I'll probably not get a chance to smoke on Christmas with everything going on. I'm not really in the market for anything in particular, but will probably hit up the local shop in the next few weeks to see if they have anything interesting. For some reason I think they usually get some Between the Lines this time of year...or maybe that's later on :dunno:.

Anjeo is my Xmas pudding. Nothing says Xmas like Anjeo. And, for whatever reason, nothing says Xmas Eve like a Padron, usually a 45th or 80th, but Xmas Eve is usually pretty busy.

Christmas Eve will be a CAO Angry Santa since he drops in that night. As for the day itself, I have yet to decide. I got a Nica Rustica I might have another go at or a Camacho Liberty I was given. Something with a kick to it. I got a 5er of the Asylum 13 7 X 70 that would take up most of the day. May just got with my Liga I have not tired yet. My smoking room in the house will be done on Christmas eve and I have no big cigar to honor it the right way. I will try to find something at my B&M before then. 2 things to celebrate those days.

This. If it snows, I'll pack a pipe and have a short smoke with my brother-in-law while all the kids run around outside. Other than that, I probably won't be smoking.

Since weather isn't an issue in az, I'll def smoke something on the bigger side. Maybe FFP or Opus X(mas).

Going to have some eggnog with Buffalo Trace and a candy cane garnish. Candy + Bourbon = Christmas.

Just like others, I plan to enjoy Christmas Day with my family. You know, grumbling over the "easy assembly" instructions, trying to find the batteries that we just bought two days ago...that stuff! :)

This, but I'm going to sneak something while I bbq... And then going to crack open some scotch and fire up another one after the kiddos hit the hay and the grandparents leave.

I have a few Opus's I've been resting along with some Anejos... but those are for the week of my wedding coming up in March. If I had to choose I would want my Christmas smokes to be any of the Unico serie from LP like an L40 or a UF-13, haven't even seen any of those in person yet.
