Are these really that rare to find? Picked up a couple at my local shop yesterday... Thinking about going back and grabbing a few more. They were listed at 11 a stick..

Anejo 46 is probably my most favorite cigar and I somehow manage to burn through at least one box a year. I love the, fresh but if you a couple of years on them they are absolutely amazing. Smoke it now and find some more for later.

it may be a wet pack thing, or a factor of the barrel fermentation of the anejo wrapper. not truly sure, but it's a well known thing with anejo.
Nothing in or around me lasts that long lol, I am trying to put together a humi specifically for aging stuff.

Alright. What do I do with these boxes now?

Do I need to take all the sticks out of the boxes or do I try to find a way to humidify them in the boxes??

I would open the box and remove the cedar from the cigars and put them back in the cello and box. Hopefully you have humidor to keep these boxes at the right RH. Otherwise zip lock bag the boxes with some humi packs/boveda.

Don't think I have room in the humidor for two boxes. May have to get a new humidor now. Smh
It happens with this hobby. If you do get one. I would make sure you get one large enough to account for all your purchases for the next year or two. Go the coolidor route if you are on a budget.

I'd like to hear wether or not wb leaves the cedar on or off of his Anejos for storing. There's not anyone individual with more experience.

I've been collecting Anejo's for over 10 yrs. now and personally I leave cedar and cello on and have no problems. I had some spots on some #49's that were several yrs. old but it was minor.

Just ordered another humidor... Can I throw a boveda in the cigar box until it gets here next week?
