I have been searching on my local Craigslist in Orlando, FL and I cannot seem to find a Thermal WineCooler. I am not experienced in this and I am bad and crafts. So, is there a place where I can buy something like this already made?

Ideas?

Thanks.

Newair makes wineadors now. Let me see if I can find the link, I was just looking at it the other day.

Not sure who is making the drawers for them but they have put together an already assembled wineador, drawers and everything.

Wow. That site looks sweet. Only prices on the shelving though. I got a feeling this will be more than a few hundo.

Forrest makes the drawers for the set up at air-n-water as well as hardwood finished drawers and shelves at his website wineadors.com. I found a newair 281E on amazon shipped for around $230 but you can find them cheaper sometimes if you dig around. I just finished installing the fan system and have the drawers and shelves seasoning at the moment. I plan on posting pics of the build when it's done. Can't wait to migrate my old humi to this and then fill it up! Highly recommend Forest's work and the whole build has been fun and really not hard. Shoot me a pm if I can help further.

Search for "wine cooler" or "wine fridge" you should get plenty of results.

I bought my first 16-bottle Vinotemp on CL for $50; I replaced it with a 28bottle Vinotemp I bought on CL for $60.

I would recommend a scratch and dent model. - 100-150
Shelves - 175
Humidity - 10-50

Total Cost: 285-375

...the one thing I remember I didn't like about the air n water prebuilt one was that it didn't have enough drawers

^^ This ^^

I bought a 12 bottle wine cooler off of CL, brand new, still in the box.. for $25... lady got it as a Christmas present the year before and didnt want/need it..

I contacted Forrest, gave him the internal dimensions.. and had 3 custom trays built.. Cost about $65 delivered IIRC...

Bought a spanish cedar plank from a local shop... cost me another $15 or so.. I cut that into shelves myself (slid right into the slots where the wire shelves that came with the wine cooler go)...

For a little over $100 I was done.. and had a small wineador that I could store about 250 cigars in...

Threw in a handful of bovedas and about a pound of KL (another $20 total).. and I was storing cigars..

Its a very simple process.. no need to have "crafts" skills.. just need to be able to search CL and call Forest with some measurements.. and youre done :)

Did you have drawers made for that 16-bottle Vino?

Wineadors.com doesn't seem to sell drawers specifically for the 16 bottle model. I take it he will make whatever though? Curious if you had drawers in it though because I found one on CL I may grab unless getting drawers made is an issue.

Correct.. Forest will custom build to whatever specs you give him (I had to have customs built for my wineador.. and for my cabinet... both times he hit a home run...)....

So did you have each at 2 separate times? Trying to imagine how you had 3 custom trays and the plank you cut into shelves, all in a 12 bottle.
