Just curious who all on here are fathers. Also if you are is there a certain cigar you smoke on your child(s) birthday? I have 3 girls. 6,3,&2. I just try to smoke something special on their birthday. Nothing specific.

I have 3 girls: 19.5, 18 and 15.5 and 1 boy 12.5. I never really smoked on their birthday. Never really thought about doing it. I may just start. LOL
Although I had a celebratory smoke when my daughter signed her National Letter of Intent with Seton Hall. (Dirty Rat)

One 10 year old girl, here!
I don't really smoke a cigar on her b-day, as we are usually hosting a party with all her friends, parents, family, et al.

New father! Kids not even a month old yet. And I'm ashamed to admit this... But I haven't smoked since she was born. Haven't had the time or the weather.

Edit: I tried to smoke a monte. But the wife complained that the smoke was getting into the house. So I had to put it out. Close as I got.

Two kids. 4.5 yr old daughter and a 6 month old son. Never really smoked on their birthday due to parties and when my son was born he ended up in the NICU for 12 days and couldn't smoke at all.

Father of five.

I do have a specific plan, but I haven't actually smoked any of the following yet, as I want to age the boxes. All of the boxes have box code dates that correspond with the child's birth month and year. The plan is to let them sit until they're 6, smoke one a year from then to 17, smoke one together from 18-31, and give them a fiver of 21-yr-old Cubans to do with as they please.

Firstborn daughter: Por Larranaga 2007 RE
Son: VR Unico
Middle girl: Party PSD5
Twins: We'll see, haven't purchased yet!

Hey brother, know what that's like. MY daughter spent 8 days. They thought she would be at least 2 weeks. Sleeping on the chairs in the lounge. My back will never recover.
Edit: That was nearly 16 years ago. Time flies people. Enjoy every moment. They grow up VERY FAST

I'm with you guys. I HATE the NICU. Don't get me wrong, in so thankful for those folks, they saved my sons life. But just hearing the beep of those monitors makes my blood pressure spike, I swear it shortens my lifespan every time I hear them. My son was in for a month. The most stressful time of my entire life!

I also agree with this statement! I have 2 kids son 8 and a daughter 2. My son was a month early as well spent month and a half in the NICU as his lungs weren't developed and couldn't breathe on his own. Also the hospital we had him at didn't have a NICU so he had to go to another hospital in the next town over. So there was no smoking at all for me. Just a lot of driving to visit him and my wife.

My daughter was also born 4 weeks early with Respiratory Distress, cord around neck and without a left hand (we did not know before she was born). Transferred to hospital with NICU. Within 12 hours of her being there her lung collapsed, 12 hours later the other one. 2 Chest tubes. The people at these NICU's are Angels sent by God, I believe. Happened 16 years ago and still fresh in my memory.

BTW: Ryan. Sorry I hijacked the thread. Last post regarding this for me...........

You're good brother! Its interesting to see everyone experiencees. My youngest was born with sleep apnea and was slow in the beginning. She has sensory processing disorder along. Basically a slight learning disability. We spent the first year and a half of her life in and out of the hospital looking for a reason for the apnea. Nothing. my soon to be ex wife was the main care provider since i was working most of the time. Long story short, (somewhat) come to find out that there's a really good chance that my wife was making most of the symptoms up. Faking it. Our daughters Dr along with several other people, think she has Munchausen by proxy. Cps OS involved right now having her (my wife) take classes and do other things. Not sure what exactly, she won't tell me. Damn. Sorry for the long sob story
