I just picked up my first MUWAT KFC Just A Friend 6"x52 at Coronas this evening. I'm about an inch into it and I'm not sure what I think. I'm certainly not raving about it.

I've had the Sam Leccia Black Label and liked it. Maybe I need to drink something besides water or have a snack with it. Hopefully it starts getting better soon, or it will be $8.50 that I regret spending.

Interesting enough, the guys at the store were not in love with it but said that the online sales had them flying off the shelves.

I put it down after getting halfway through it. No more KFC for me.

I got bored with the KFC pretty quickly. Leccia is much more interesting flavor wise IMO

I had my first one last night and I'll tell you right off the bat. I did not like the smell of it. But the taste was good. I smoked that thing right down to the nub. I wouldn't buy a box but I will buy a couple more. But I'll only buy it when I plan on smoking it.

Exactly my thoughts. You smell it before you light it and it reeks but surprisingly it smokes fine.

Nowhere near as good as the Nica but different in its own right.

I have only had 1 and I can not write this one off just yet.

I like the KFC's but I will admit the test blend I was given in May IMO was more flavorful than the one released. I think they picked the milder one thinking people wouldn't like the stronger one.

Good to know i am not the only one thinking this way.
I have not had a Nica yet but I have one in my humi waiting.

I'm with ya, I like the Leccia black much more than the KFC, I posted a full review of my experience with both.

I tried one, and will not be buying more. It wasn't my thing. That being said, others at B&M really like them. Seems to be a cigar you either like, or don't like!
