Don't worry, there will be plenty more opportunities for you to run after him to catch him. Get back here!!!

Congrats to the little guy for taking that first step! :blob: :blob: :blob:

Absolutely not!

He has been pulling himself up into a standing position for almost two months now.
Congrats. Eliza is doing the walking thing as well, walk 6 feet, fall, walk 4 ft, fall, pull something over, we say no, she cries, then finds something else to pull, then walks on again laughing at our inability to control her as the house becomes one big playpen :sadstare:

Congrats on the little one walking.

Too bad you missed it. That made me think about some things.
As a step parent I did not get that. No first words, no first steps, no diaper changes.

But I got First day of school, problems at school,teenage years,highschool,driver's test,buying cars,buying cars to replace wrecked cars,again, again,again,again,highschool basketball,some college basketball,graduation,

And I realy loved the "They both moved out" part.!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy them while they are young.

As much as I like being a parent, from watching my dad, I think being a grandparent is gonna be even better.

He is a good dad, but he's a great grandpa. He get twice as excited about milestones as I do.
