So, I was thinking, if I wanted to Cello the sticks that come nekked, to keep them from flavor transfers when touching other brands of nekked sticks in my stash, where would I find the Cello in blank bulk?

Or is this just a dumb noob idea?

I would worry about flavor transfer unless you are storing infused sticks with your non-infused.

Never seen it happen outside of that.

yea as stated above theres not going to be any flavor transfers...

although i have thought about this, for the protection factor of cello, times when i've bought a good amount but not a full box of un-cello'd cigars.

i've searched and searched and searched to no avail.
i don't think there are any public sources that sell them, if i had to guess they only sell them in mass quantity, thus the reason it's not available to consumers... again that's speculation...

When I get a mazo without cello, I just put them in a ziplock. It ain't pretty, but it works. The only reason I do, is if I am away and my beads dry up and go unnoticed, I feel the cello'd sticks don't dry out as quickly.

Unless you have your humidor bouncing around in the back of your pick-up truck you should be fine. The ones that have cello stay in cell the ones that don't, don't. Don't worry, be smokey.

I double bag my uncelloed sticks until I know they're clean and are free to mingle in the humi. I am also kidding, my humi is a disaster of cello and uncello even ziploc *gasp* that are zipped. They are all fine and they all burn great. Relax don't worry have a cigar.

On a semi-related note. I have a question. Do you let your food touch on your dinner plate or are you worried about flavor transfer? :p I kid, I kid.

My soon to be ex won't let her food touch. Seriously. She had puked before from watching me mix over easy eggs with potatoes and a steak that might've been a bit bloody yet :) you know, the way steak is good

I leave the baggie open, but fold them over, like the cello is in a new box.

The NSA probably thinks we are some weird group of polite terrorists that play classical music.

Wow, thanks for all of the replies. I find that I'm on the side of halel....I prefer cello.....I guess just as an extra form of protecting the sticks when I rotate in the humi, or just when moving them around to find one I want to smoke. I wasn't too worried about the flavor transfer as I was about damage, but all of the replies are very informative...even the "food don't touch" one!
