Well my new job will require me to carry some form of laptop bag/ technical junk bag at all times. I have narrowed my choices down to two. The hazard 4 switchback

or the maxpedition mongo.

But I'm that tacticool guy, and my bag will probably have a Glock and a med kid right along side that laptop, since my work permits me to carry. :) I'm a bit of a prepper so I normally have certain thins on me at all times. Multitool flashlight ect. Since I'll be in a suit that stuff will be in the bag. But this thread isn't about me. It's about you. I'm curious. Do you carry a bag? If so why? What do you have in it? What kind of bag is it? Is it a purse? (If it has Chapstick in it, it's a purse. If you had to wonder if it's a purse. It's a purse. Lol. Jk ) does carrying this bag make you gay?( if carrying a bag pushed you over the edge and made you gay. I have bad news. You were gay long before the bag. ) all kidding aside. I'd like to know.

I have a nice 5.11 backpack if you interested.

It's a Rush series, think it's the middle one if you wanna check em out. Maybe we can work a trade out for it.
Indeed. If you have the 24 that would be perfect. I considered that series, just couldn't find one locally that wasn't multicam lol. Pm sent.

Here's a bag I carry that holds a ton of stuff and is somewhat of a swiss army knife for backpacks. I have 3 brand new extras currently for sale on Craig's List.

And when seen in person both bags in black look just like a normal laptop bag unless your really inspecting it.

I have a few camera bags from Think Tank Photo and love them. Several of them are designed to hold laptops and could easily conceal a firearm. One of the other things I like is that some of their lines don't look like camera bags. Check out the Retrospective lines.

It's called a satchel, Indiana Jones wears one...

I can't stand behind the leather bags for fashion that I see guys wearing in public. Unless your a student then wear whatever bag you want whenever. But for me. For the most part I'd say bags for men should be limited to work. Cause sometimes you have a lot of shot to carry at work from area to area. But when you're out about town. Lose the bag fellas. Unless it has skittles in there. Then that's cool.

I hear ya - carrying a bag is the first step on the slippery slope to hipster-dom.

In one sense, whenever I am out, I am "working" so I carry my bag with me. It also happens to hold a cutter and a lighter, just in case the weather turns bad and I find myself near a cigar lounge. Hasn't happened yet since I tend to prefer to shoot in bad weather but, still, "be prepared."

But I also HATE having my pockets filled with stuff so a bag helps alleviate that. But no fashionable leather bag for me.

You're a photographer though so that's different too. It's not like you could put a big ass camera and all the lenses in your pockets even if you wanted to lol.

I have a few. 3 or 6 are Jordan ones with my favorite being the 3 with the shoe last on the bottom (will put up a pic later.)
I have an Eagle Creek Messenger.
A Roots one which is slightly bigger with a compartment on the bottom.
A Davidoff small leather briefcase
Two or three Property Of laptop bags
and a few random funky ones.
