What the hell was I thinking....

I had an AVO LE 05 that I left in my truck and forgot about.
It dried out and I was feeling lazy so I ran some water over it,
and put it back down. I got busy working, so the next time i saw it
it was dry again. I wet it a second time. Last night after I got home
i was feeling froggy (experimental) so I put a copious amount of olive
oil on it, used paper towel to dry off the rest off the oil, went outside
(into the freezing cold) and proceeded to light and smoke the cigar.

It wasn't a very enjoyable smoke!:hammersma

I could taste the olive oil in my mouth, and combined with the cold I
went back inside after I finished my drink, and left the cigar.

Needless to say, I won't be doing that again! :king:

I've wet a dry cigar before with no problem. (Read somewhere that they used to do that in the 1800's)
