Mine came up and held in 2 days on day 2 I put a few in to test it and waited about 6 hours and it was still solid loaded her up last night and this am it was holding great. I put gel crystal in spray paint cans and Tupperware in every drawer and wiped down what I could. I wasn't to worried about warping since most of mine is 1/2 Spanish cedar and there's a total of 500 screws haha I used a furniture jig on the bottom of the slats and two screws per slat it was a long process.

I went with the NewAir 280. I got a descent deal from www.air-n-water.com
They had it for $240, a 10% coupon, free shipping, and no sales tax (unless you live in CA). So I got a descent deal, except I have seen some differents posts about watching Ebay stores and there you might be able to get a better deal. its ground shipping, so I assume it will get here sometime early next week.

Nice, Did you wash it out with a mild detergent or anything first?
wash it out with distilled water and 2 table spoons of baking soda let it sit for a day with the door wide open to get the plastic smell out. The next day get a new sponge with distilled water and wash it off, and take a paper towel to wipe off the excess white from the baking soda and excess water.

I then took some old cigar boxes and threw them in there to help with the smell, I'm waiting on contact back from Forrest @ Wineadors.com so I have all the time in the world and have no rush

I'm in the process of building mine too, let me know if you need any help!

Good luck!

I just left mine open for 2 weeks moved it outside in the sun open when I was home and got boxes after that from my b&m closed it up also it helps of you can get some Spanish cedar saw dust it seems to soak it up.but the key is to get the plastic warm to let the smell out it seemed to help a lot.I just installed some fans out of a laptop cooler in the bottom drawer with a variable switch on the low setting to help out but my humidity was pretty consistent already

I had the drawers out for a while mounting the fans that's why my hygrometer s are a little low.

That's my collection so far and I just started in October haha
