I was given one of these sticks by one of the reps I deal with and have yet to try it. My consumption is not at the point that I see a need for this. Nor am I clamoring for status to where I would need to walk around inside posing with one either.

All that said, simply based on this article, I am going to check it out this weekend and I will share my observations.

I've been interested to see what people think about these.... a lot of guys around here smoke the e-cigs during the day and save cigars for at the bar at night... let us know how it goes!

I'm one of those. I vape all day and cigar at night but at home. My local vape shop has these and the e pipe but the cigar is much cheaper than what the site says. I've tried cuban and toscano vape flavor and it just isn't the same as a real cigar. I'm curious. Let us know!

So here is my view.. I hate the idea of an E-cigar because it ain't no damn cigar. A cigar is a hand rolled premium product and I think that name cheapens what I love. That being said I own a couple vaporizer pens myself. I also love vape products when I'm just chilling and don't feel like smoking a cigar. It's a good concept just the wrong name.

I agree. Also If cigar companies were to make flavors for this they may as well make vape flavors so I can smoke a tat black label in my vape. Or a jv13 or a FFP. Which will never happen. You just can't recreate that flavor. This is essentially a vape that looks like a cigar. Which is lame to me.

I'm not sold on the idea especially since cigars are not a "need" for me, so to speak. I don't jones for a smoke so I can't see me pulling this out in the house or in a public place where smoking is prohibited. I'm not knocking anyone who enjoys vaping, however, the appeal just isn't there for me.

I have no desire for this. I can see the appeal though. It's a good way for those who have to get their nicotine fix without actually burning one down. Would the vaping be the same if you don't inhale and puff like a normal cigar?

I have a buddy who owns a vape shop and he sells and distributes his own liquid. I've talked to him about making a liquid that is similar to a cigar flavor, but he says it really can't be done. They would taste flat and one dimensional as there isn't really any way to have a profile that changes. I've wondered about playing with viscosity to make the profile changes, but it's outside the realm of the current product.

Got one from a rep a few days ago. The flavor, in my opinion, doesn't have any real substance to it all. It's maybe 1/10 the flavor of the mildest cigar I've ever smoked. That being said, I do like using it. It's not a substitute for a cigar, not in the slightest, but for something to puff on for fun it can be enjoyable. It's more for the enjoyment of the physical act of smoking than anything else.

it isn't a cigar and should not be named a cigar.
These contraptions helped me kick the cig habit but I found it was just as addictive I only exchanged one habit with another and only after a year with a few extra cigars for a few weeks did I kick the vaporizer. The vaporizer was very addictive to me with or without nicotine.

Nothing is going to take the place of a real cigar...nothing. For those who use the system of these e cigs it's basically to try and get off the cigarettes period. As far as trying to imitate a cigar it's snake oil at best but for those who want to stop smoking cigars then that is why these things exist ....to fill the void left behind a real cigar taste.

E cigarettes exist for those who are addicted to cigarettes and want to quit. I'm not addicted to cigars. I don't have to smoke cigars. I smoke cigars because I want to and because I want to. I enjoy the ritualistic experience that comes with it along. I don't need an e cigar. There is no reason for me to ever want one.
