Used to be a decent one in Old Town I think, but that is from when I was there back in 1999. Not sure still there?

Yes. Racine and Laramie in old town is like the oldest tobacco store in California or west of the Mississippi or something. It's fucking awesome. David keeps great sticks on hand always and he's funny as hell.

Cool thanks already, im coming from utah so if there is one that you say I need to stop at on the way I can do that too. Plus im not planning on staying there so it doesnt have to have a lounge. We got 86 percent tax here and a very limited selection of bothe pipe bacy and sticks so im easily impressed.

Racine first, Churchill second, liberty and excalibur are cool.

Hoffers in La Mesa is pretty chill, and I heard that cigar grotto in oceanside is good, but i can't confirm that.

Im just heading down for the weekend june 20 and leave june 22, mostly to see family. I will be in a rental so I doubt I will get to smoke much, but if there is a herf planed for that time I could probably get away for a couple of hours.

Does your family like to visit during the day, or are they the night-time kinda visitors. And do you know where abouts they live? This is a sprawling town and a big county.

It's a bit off the beaten trail but, in Oceanside, there's Cigar Grotto. The owners there are good folks and they take care of the finest fighting force on the planet.

I used to work right near Liberty Tobacco and Excalibur's in Kearny Mesa, and both are very good. Liberty has a great selection of cigars, and Excalibur's has a nice lounge with comfortable chairs, a lot of big tvs, and a bear and wine license. Have some good beers on tap.
