A lil' more info on the actual Las Calaveras EL 2014 blend:

Wrapper: Ecuador (Habano) 8th Priming
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua

Note: all of the tobaccos used in the binder/filler are from the Garcia family's farms in Nica.

bigbwalls - While there /is/ a spice element to the blend...it's my opinion that the final blend exhibits enough balance and complexity, that the 'spice note' does not ring 'louder' than the rest of the subtle taste notes...I get a real rich-earthy-meaty-and-dark-chocolate profile from the Las Calaveras blend...
