Goals for 2014?

We have ample amounts of technical discussion in this section. But, where's the performance dialogue?

What are your goals for 2014 as a shooter? Go 25/25 on the clays? 1000 yard cold-bore hit? Dedicate time to fundamentals in one discipline? I'm sure there's a variety out there.

My only real goal is to at least have my A card in USPSA before 2015, though I'll be aiming for Master (no pun intended). Sadly, I've wasted the past month and really need to get in gear again.

The only other goal, albeit far less important, is to [re]develop my shotgun skills. This will mean some clays, and working on my loading technique.

This is incorrect. In order to need ammo, a shooter first needs a gun!

So that's my goal in 2014. Shoot a bunch of stuff and finally get around to buying a gun this year.

And also, I'm going hunting for the first time. To be successful it will require a cold bore shot from 200+ ish yards. I should be fine, but I haven't really shot much since 9th grade rifle club. (We had a rifle range in the basement of our Junior High Building). I plan to practice enough and like I said it shouldn't be a problem, but that is my goal!!

My goal is complete vanity: I want visible abs. I'm probably 10-15 lbs of fat away. (Also made a deal with my wife that if I don't make it to my goal she gets facial hair control, she doesn't like the longer beard)

my goal is to also be a better shooter overall and competitively shoot more big matches this year to get experience. I also shoot a lot of USPSA and IMGA Multigun.

gotta work on my movement this year more than anything

I am still a C class in Single stack so i hope to place well at Nationals. For Multigun I try to place better than the previous years. Last USPSA Multigun I placed in top 20 in open division so im planning to improve there.
