Was reading about some of you guys' man-cave builds and stuff.. and someone posted this up on Facebook today..

I thought it was pretty cool and here I am sharing:

I started to laugh, thinking.. "Imagine if that was the ONLY door to your house?" LOL

then thought "man-cave hidden entrance awesomeness"

Very cool!
Just wish there was some way to hide the actual door better...It's so obvious that there IS a door there. Of course the door needs to open, so it can't be truly hidden.....Or can it?

Are you talking the interior part of the door? I was thinking, anything can swing with a hinge.. I think the fact that they used an actual door is just because it was easier.. (If that's what you were driving at-- because I thought that too -- anyone who's ever been inside that house has seen the door on the inside)
My great-grandparents used to have a hidden door or two when they had a still during prohibition.. you'd open a closet, take out the shelves, and the wall behind them moved.. I never knew it was a door -- on either side !

My friend bought a house that used to be owned by drug dealers. We moved him in and found that if you opened the bathroom mirror. And pushed back the shelves it revealed a giant room.

I'll have to get pics next time I head over

No, I meant you can see the outline of the door from the outside...I get that it is nearly impossible to have the door fit so tightly that the cut line disappears

Might have been able to do vinyl siding so that it created an almost puzzle piece appearance when the door is opened. Then when it's closed it breaks up the profile a bit.
