Anyone Smoke This Yet - Davidoff Year of the Horse

Smoking a Davidoff for me has been a hit or miss proposition. When they have hit, they have hit gooooooood and when they have missed, it has been by a mile. So with that said, before I go plunk down money on this stick, I wanted to hear from anyone who has smoked this stick

That's some serious coin for a vitola I hate from a company who doesn't consistently produce smokes I like (notice: yes, my preferences).

If you end up going for it, I'd definitely love to see a review posted here!

I have to agree... I think it is a lot to ask for a stick that will have the usual mono-flavor and lack of consistency. I passed one up at Leaf today...

I enjoy most of what davidoff makes but I won't be trying this one. If it was a Churchill like the year of the snake was then I'd probably get one to try

I'm going to try it once I can get a hold of one...been my experience that Davidoff LEs are excellent.

I'm an old Davidoff fan. What kills this for me isn't the price. I could wrap my head around it if it was worth it. It's the vitola. The largest RG Davidoff I've had was the puro d'Oro gigantes. Not a fan. I could smoke the gold band awards sticks for days, though. If you are into big RG then I'd try a single before committing to one of the boxes as cool as they are...
