It's a cigar out of the Habanos 1492 Humidor, I believe it was a ltd. ed. of 1492 humidors of 100 sticks.

It's a toss up between the Monte#2 SS and the pre-embargo Monte #4 for me. I know that my buddy said he paid A "a lot" for it so I am not completely sure of the price.

Most expensive cigars I've smoked have been in the $18-$25 range. Heck, I can count on one hand the number of over-$20 cigars I've had.

I've only paid about $40 or so, don't remember what it was, picked up a single at LCdH once.

As for the most expensive, my friend in Mexico City has quite a collection and he gave me a reallllllly nice smoke one time....it was very old, very special, and very good...a shame, I don't remember what it was....
