So I just picked up this LFD Mysterioso. It's just... too pretty. I can hardly contemplate actually smoking this. I wonder if any of you have particular sticks you just can't bring yourself to clip and light because they're just... too pretty to smoke?

I guess I will tell you what my thinking is. If I have I will smoke it. I will truly appreciate the stick and if I leave it sitting in my humi and I kick the bucket odds are it will get sold or thrown out and no one will ever get to enjoy it the way I know I would.

Just my thoughts on it but to each there own I guess.

P. S. If I sounded like an asshole or a dbag that was not my intent.

Jmartins lol so polite! I agree with him, take a picture and then circumsize that stick and light it on fire! The great thing about it is, you can buy another. Also I'd like to point out that the beauty of the cigar is all part of the experience. The better it looks, the more I want to dive in and find out what's waiting for me behind the curtain.

I have a box of the Marduros and I loved it. It was a real tight draw and I had to drill both ends, but I have to admit. The wrapper tasted good enough to eat, I couldn't stop chewing on it. :)

I once paid a lot of money for a very nice custom made flintlock rifle, after I got it I thought it was too pretty to shoot, so I just kept it in my safe for a couple years. My son grew up during that time and asked me why I never shot it yet, so I told him. His response made me shoot that rifle. He said, "it will be mine someday and if you don't shoot it, I will" figure you ought to enjoy it yourself rather than some one else., just my .02 cents

Russ just hit me with one of these at our last herf. I wholeheartedly plan on smoking it. Take a picture and burn it to the nub! The picture will last indefinitely, but the prime of that tobacco won't.

Just to be clear-- I will burn this puppy! What I'm getting at is that ineffable... hesitation. Maybe only I get that! Mostly, I was hoping to see photos of other pretty cigars...!
