My wife took over my desk downstairs to work from home for awhile so I had to move the humidor to a place that was inconvenient to check it. I went to have a cigar today and notice the wrapper was a little dry. I took out the digital hydro (couldnt open the lid high enough to see it on the shelf) and it said 55rh.

Oh crap.

took all the cigars out and the ones on the bottem were a lot drier. I've been using xicar beads and I refilled them. I then wiped down the humi with distilled water and noticed the seal boards were really dry so I got them good and moist. (not wet) I grabbed a 69rh boveda pack I had out of my small humi and tossed it in as well.

Went online and ordered 1.5 times the recommended amount of 65% heartfelt beads (2 tubes). I won't be opening the humi for a couple days (it got back up to 60 pretty quick the last time I checked.

My plan is to put one tube in the top and one in the bottom (it;s a 2 tier 100 count 5 Vegas branded humidor) I hope It wasn't too late. :-(

Got out a pipe instead for this smoke.

Ruh Roh Shaggy. Hope you can restore these and if Heartfelt can't do it, nobody can.

Keep us posted on how it turns out.

Mid 50's isn't bad. I know guys who routinely keep their cigars in the high 50's.

Raise that rH up slowly, and let 'em sit. I'm betting you're just fine.

Might want to calibrate the hygrometer just to see how it's doin.
