Lately I've been slowing down a lot on my puffs and draws as a result of reading up on here.

I've noticed some new flavors along the way and was curious to hear what some of people's favorite cigar flavors have been and the first time you picked up on them. Also, what cigar you really noticed them in.

I've found it helpful to know some flavors that might show up in the flavor identification process and want to get some new flavors on my radar to enhance the experience.

I'll start (obviously)

Had a torano signature from fairway1 that had my first noticeable coffee notes and a blind review from Clint that had a lot of leather for the first time. Both delicious!

Ironically, when I've picked up on the flavors from smoking slower, it makes it really hard to not smoke faster...paradoxical :)

Feel free to chime in!!!

Nice thread dude,

Just had a JDN Celebracion(out of the snack smoke box pass) that gave off ridiculous mocha notes. I slowed way down when smoking it too. It was a first time for me picking up that strong of a flavor. I'll have to check out a review to see if I was imagining it haha.

Had a few tats and illusione that gave off ridiculous chocolate cake flavor but the award for the most unique flavor I have tasted out of a cigar was watermelon jolly rancher and it was in a graycliff crystal shaggy foot. Not my favorite cigar but very enjoyable flavor.

I find when I slow down I pick up more nutty flavors. Can't remember what cigar it was but recently I noticed pure coconut flavors that we're amazing.

I tasted a lot of creamy nutty (no homo haha) flavors in the My Father Flor de las Antillas... and the Anejo was unique cuz I tasted a lot of floral notes in it... and the Padrons that I smoke has a lot of coffee and chocolate notes... I love picking out different flavors in cigars...
