Nah, you can back out. Just be polite and put a note back in the box and send them back.
But i agreed to trade even after seeing the picture. I should've questioned it when i saw it. I just didn't figure it was mold being that evenly distributed on the cigar
When you get them. If they are moldy. Let him know. And say what I thought was plume in the picture turns out to be mold. No deal bro

Plume rubs off. Mold... Not so much
This, take them out of the cello and push your thump along the wrapper if it smears its mold, if it comes off its plume. Id also give them the smell test and take a look at the filler from the foot.

On a serious note if you think its shady, simply dont do the trade. To many of those sticks out there that dont look that.

Dude, I see green on the foot. Not sure if it's the lighting or not, but I wouldn't smoke it. Looks like it's been wiped since the white is more accumulated on the seams of the wrapper...

Well F@$#! Thanks guys for all the help. These are going back to the owner. I can't see the green. I am color blind so that doesn't help me in this situation. So i still have a 2012 Forbidden x BBMF to trade

New photos tend to say it's not plume....as others have expressed each has it's own way of manifesting. Plume can be wiped off with no residual evidence...not with mold. You tend to see mold even after wiping it off and once it's into the foot you'd have to cut and cut until you don't see the green stuff.

Cedar has the reputation on Anejos and Sharks to have mold. I stopped using the cedar wrapped cigars and take em off...I have a tupperware I use for transfer of cedar to the cigars...the bottom and sides as well as the underside is cedar and I keep cigars in there for 6 months and ....wow...what a nice transfer and smoke.

When you get mold on your cigars it's like your first time with most things...unforgettable and mold and beetles tend to make you do things differently.
