So tell me what I need. I've been pondering these for a while....1) for when I can't have a cigar and 2) when I travel I won't have to buy cig's...only time I smoke them is when I travel but still need a fix now and then.
It depends on how far you want to take it. Most people start with one of the ego starters http://www.myvaporstore.com/Joye_Ego_CC_Smart_Kit_1000mAh_Joyetech_p/joye-ecc-1000k.htmor something like a smoov http://www.smoovcigs.com/Smoov_78mm_Dual_Starter_Kit_Black_p/157.htm if you want a smaller type. Juice is dependent on you and your nic levels. You can take it as far as building coils and running mod systems but that's the advanced side of things

Well. I bought my first mech mod today. And placed an order for some rebuildable items. This thing hits like a freight train.

Is that it's name? I really like the vamo wicket hit me with, but the thing is huge for taking to work. I might get a magneto or do you know a different good telescopic one?
No brother. It's actually a Chinese clone of this

Mech mod just means it uses a switch to hit the battery and that's what heats the coils.

I'm still pretty new to all the advanced side of things and my buddy has taken me under his wing. He's starting his own shop up soon so he's a been a blessing when it comes to learning this hobby

Well shit, lucky you. I've hit up some local "vape" shops and It's just head shops that added whatever place they bulk buy their juice/egos from. I'll be pestering you along your journey :p

A guy I know runs this place called the Vaporatory ( http://www.thevaporatory.com) here in Orlando. He makes all his own e-liquids and actually sells under his brand in a lot of other shops. If you are looking into mods or a good source for American made liquid, he's your guy. I'm not trying to advertise and I'm not sure what the rules are outside of tobacco related sites for sponsors, just wanted to help some brothers out. This is his life next to being one of the most bad ass guitar builders/restorers, but he wanted to get out from under his father (owns Guitar Factory here in Orlando. They are pretty well renowned in the pro musician circles).

Not sure where to post this. Anyone on the forum use e-cigs? I have a bunch of juice I'd like to PIF if anyone wants it.
Are you still vaping?
No longer vaping. Mechanical mods are good but most of it is about the coil. I used the nzonic, chi you and king for a bit. You guys should check out http://www.tasteyourjuice.com and http://www.grimmgreen.com if you haven't yet. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ is also a great resource.

Any opinions on who are the top e-juice brands? Asking because I just started vaping.
My recommendation is finding a vape shop in your area that has an open bar. You can try all the juices for free. That's usually the best way and then its made locally.

I've really taken to vaping. I can sit here at my home office and vape all I want since it doesn't stink up my house. My wife even takes a hit once in a while at night when she's home.

I've upgraded to an itazte MVP 2.0 with Kangar Aerotanks.

For my juice I like a 50%pg/50%vg blend and prefer shops that let you specify the ratio. Near my office in Cincinnati, in Milford there is a shop called Vapors-Choice that is soon changing their name to Phantasm Vapors. They blend their juice when you order it and let you specify ratio, extra flavoring and nicotine strength. It's ready to use soon as they mix it. They have 100+ flavors to try in their shop. You can also order online from them.

Another good online choice is ECBlendFlavors. Same deal w/ ratio, nicotine, flavoring when you order but their juice isn't ready to go when you get it. It needs to steep a while. 3-4 weeks for a 30ml bottle. I speed it up a bit by putting it in hot water daily and then shaking like mad after 15 minutes in the water. Might buy their shaker to help out. Their flavors are good, but have to steep or they taste like shit.

I've got a Nemesis clone mechanical mod with a couple drip tips and then a Kraken tank. Had a buddy I used to work with that started his own shop.

A couple tips, always buy good quality wick material- I think the stuff I use is from Germany or something and works like a charm. I also run a little larger gauge wire on my coils so it hits better. Haven't used it in a long time, but I'll take some pics and post them up along with the materials I use for building coils, wicks and such b
