Don't know what took me so long to get here! Looks like a great place! I've been passionately smoking cigars for about five years now. Getting a little burned out on NC's unfortunately. My favorite cigars are in the Opus X and Anejo line. Hoping to find some new ideas, new cigars maybe! I've been in SW North Dakota most my life, deep in the Bakken oil field. Anybody looking at coming here for work or other, I'd be happy to help!

Hey, thanks! I'm a contractor, I actually try to avoid the patch where possible :) I was hoping I'd find some ND cigar folks here, are there many more...are you oil related in Minot?

Two of my Great Grandfather's siblings (One brother, one sister) moved out to your area many years ago with one family settling in Bowman and the other in Belfield. Both branches of the family are no longer around but I have always felt a cosmic connection to your area. It also helps that my family still has the mineral rights on some land just north of Halliday that I am hoping some day will make me a modern day Jed Clampett LOL.

Small world, I went to high school in Bowman, my mother and father both went to high school in Belfield

Thanks all for a great welcome, love the herf connection on here, my daughter's going to grad school in Minneapolis next fall, looks like a lot of Minnesota smokers here :)

I should've added your quote when I replied earlier, don't know if you saw that one, I'm a contractor...are you involved in oil industry as well? My wife's brother lives in Minot, we often make the state fair

I work in Minot for a company that transports crude oil. My family and I moved down here almost 3 years ago from Canada. We really like it. My wife's sister and father have lived in the Dickinson area for over 15 years.
