a little 4nog father orin in my little chuck sands today:

their description makes it sound topped, but it burns just like a solid VaBur; any "honey" or "bourbon" actually show through the tobacco, which is rich and earthy with a little black pepper. good stuff.

My ride to work smoke was some stonehaven in one of my Boswells. Thanks to Grrr, its good stuff, but for the ease of finding, I am happy with other blends I bought as alternative recommendations to stonehaven.

I really need to buy a Boswell pipe. I've been eyeing their shotshell models.

I have two from Boswell. One is an average bent which I absoutely love. I'm sort of leaving it to be my VA/VA based blends pipe. I also have a big mamma jamma Ooom Paul sorta pipe from them. It's got a deep deep bowl. That's an all morning like three hour bowl.

Had some MacBaren Old Dark Fired to compare against Stonehaven. I like ODF a lot and considering the price, plus I found Stonehaven to have a slight bitterness that ODF doesn't.
