Finally finished my wineador well almost just have to caulk the hole I used to wire everything throughout and I'm done!

I opted the heartfelt route and 4 fans (2 stacked on top of each other) in a custom box that I designed for Forrest to make for me

Made my own etc (stc-1000) and a timer for the fans
Just got it and now I need to fill up and buy some boxes!

Sorry for the crappy pics was just excited

If anyone needs some help don't be afraid to PM me I'll be more than happy to help out !

Quick question, I've seen you and other guys do this. Is it really needed to have 3+ hygro's? How much variation in humidty are you expecting from top top bottom? Add the 4 fans in that are on a timer, I'd expect that the humidty you pretty well distribute evenly through out the wineador.

I had a bunch of hygros laying around in my smaller count humis so I figured why not use them and I would rather be on point than off being that I'm in a basement. And yeah with the fans it should be pretty well circulated, but I would only know by pacing hygros in multiple places. So to me it was ok because I had them, if I only had 1 I would buy one more on for top and bottom. Guess it's all about how anal you are in the end

11 weeks, hmmm....

I'm about at the 7 week mark. Waiting another month seems like so far away considering it's almost been 2 months as is.

I'm not really super stressed about it. I guess I just feel like he should change his statement on his homepage from 5 weeks to something more realistic.

Seems like the fair thing to do.

His drawers in photos look absolutely amazing. For me it's just the first time I have sent someone such a large sum of money and have been expected to just "chill."

Again, at this point I rarely think about them because I have been instructed to basically forget about them until they come.

It's only when I see posts like this that I remember I am actually owed a set of these awesome drawers myself.

Anyway, sorry to derail the thread. Your set-up looks awesome, congrats!!!

...and thanks for the update on when you got them, it helps the rest of us have an idea.

Disclaimer: I have only emailed Forrest once since I ordered my drawers and he wrote me back within like 30 mins. and answered my question. I don't have any extraordinary complaints other than it takes longer than what his website states.

Great looking Wineador. I didn't realize when ordering drawers from Forrest that divider slots were actually milled into the woodwork. I figured they would be snug/friction fit type sets. Makes me kinda regret not adding that option. Looks like you have a great stash as well. For those wondering about Forrest, I waited 13 weeks but the end result was worth it. Seems that since he got over to his new shop they are starting to move along more consistently.
What type of timing schedule do you have on your fans? I notice a bit higher humidity up top where the fan circulates whereas down in the bottom its a few points lower until the computer fan kicks on.
