Soooo Bummed !!!!!

So I order the Avallo 1200 deluxe, wait four weeks, impatiently, for it to arrive. Gets dropped off, I give the delivery guy 10 bucks, a cigar, and a great big thank you for his help getting this in the house. I open up the package, and as MY luck would have it, looks like they put a fork from the fork lift right into the back of the cabinet. Ruined!!!! I got hold of Matt from Avallo immediately and informed him of this situation. Without one second of hesitation, he offerd to build me a new cabinet, and have it shipped in less than 2 weeks. I dont know if thats even possible, but we will see. I am sick as I look at this beautiful, useless, cigar cabinet sitting in my house, doin nothing.

On a side note, the craftsmanship and artistry that went into this cabinet is unbelievable. Way beyond what I was expecting. This thing is a monster, not in size, but in pure quality. If anyone is on the fence about getting an Avallo, jump over, because this thing is beautiful!!

But, back to reality, I sit and wait, for who knows how long, for another to arrive, hopefully intact. UGH, Im sick about it !!!!!!

That really sucks but at least you will get another one. What are they doing with the old one? any pictures of the damage? Best of luck to you

Matt from Avallo just wants me to send it back, on his dime. I guess they'll fix it and resell it. It hurts to look at this thing. I will post some pics as soon as I figure out how the hell to do it!!!! Im a Gen-Xer, Im still catching up on this stuff.

that truly sucks, and i get your dissapointment, but you at least had some SUPERLATIVE customer service behind it. i hope they get you squared in short order, sir. o)

Always do a walk-around on anything that's delivered by a freight carrier. Dock workers are paid very little and don't give a crap about your freight. Write up the damage on the bill of lading and make a copy for yourself if you can.

That's too bad because they make really good stuff. I have an accumonitor and love it.
Ive heard nothing but good things about them. Never met Matt, but he is a stand up guy, keeps his word, and apparently stands by his products and service. I have absolute trust that he will make this right, no doubt. Just sucks to wait......again.

Matt and Avallo are both top notch. I have an Avallo and love it. Matt will definitely take care of you, so need to worry brother.
I appreciate your input, thank you, makes me feel better. I have nothing but positive things to say about Matt or his products. Im just so pissed at the carrier. This cabinet is beautiful, and they went and just destroyed it. I had to package it back up, I cant even look at because I get ill. Cant wait till I get a new one so I can actually use it. Again, thanks for the input.
