Are you falling for the pipe?
I dunno, I figured I needed a good pipe to smoke from to really see. Since I thought the cob I had was a piece. I like the price difference though lol

I got it from James Fox (out of Ireland) they were the cheapest by far (inc. ship) and I got a free soft flame lighter.

Local B&M is closing so I grabbed this for 50% off. Anyone had this one before? Been wanting to try a Virginia flake and hoping this is a good example

My issue with cobs is really just how much harder it can be to puff lightly. They're so wide open (without the filters).

@hopzilla, just like a cigar, discipline and experience can help with pacing. or buy a forever stem from walker briar works and cheat!

@brewinhooligan, not familiar with that one, but dan does good work, from what i've heard. their hamborger veermaster is a highly regarded VA (orVaPer).

Good to know. A quick search suggests it's not in production anymore and by the looks of the sticker from the shop it's been sitting quite a while. I will give a full report when I crack into it

Haha, me too. Everything I own is red and black; Oakley shades, watch, sandles, phone case, clothes....lol every time I think I'm going to switch it up, I end up with something black and red..

This was the only tin of that they had. They had some Drew Estate black cavendish and another DE blend I can't recall at the moment but were pretty well picked over on the tins. They had a ton of bulk but I was so focused on picking over the humidor I failed to check over what they had. I figure I can head back tomorrow after work and see what else I can dig up

Dan does a great job. Patriot a Flake is a fair VaPer, but not stellar. The whole America line of blends was not their best stuff, good, but their other stuff is better, especially considering it demanded an uber-premium price. At 50% off, you got a steal and should not be disappointed. And the age on any VaPer should only have improved it. I think it has been out of regular production for nearly 10 years, so that should make this spectacular.

Looking to see your review of this.

Peace of The Lord be with you.
