BOTL, I have recently began to purchase boxes. Some contain sticks that are wrapped. Should I remove all the wrappers to help the cigars breath. The boxes are stored in my tupperdor that is well maintained with Spanish cedar and Boveda 69% packs. Any advice?

Ahhhhhh another cello on vs. off thread.

I take all the cello off. Way I see it, its to protect in shipping. Doesn't need to be on sitting in the humi

Not to hijack the thread, but if I got a box of cigars with no cello, will having then alongside cello covered cigars do anything to then?

Haha. We have all asked this question or at least wondered this. But, I would like to give my opinion this time...!

The way I see it is if it came with cello, leave it on. I like it because when I send cigars to other broskis, it helps to protect during shipping. If I was absolutely sure that I would smoke the entire box myself, maybe I'd take the cello off. But that thought never crossed my mind until just now. Plus, when you get down to the last third of your box and want to mingle them with singles in your humi, they will stay protected when you are digging around in there.

I recently started taking all my cello off my in box cigars, I think if your keeping them in the the box, your not going to be moving them around much. But I leave it on all my singles.

I think someone who has a box of cello'd cigars should do a test.

Take the cello off half of them and smoke side by side every 6 months.
