And Move your humidor to the room that stays the coolest.....but not the bathroom you don't want to go imparting the wrong nuances on your cigars
I used to smoke a cigar after missions in Iraq, while using the port-a-potties we had... 120 degrees, the smell of poo & "the blue goo", mixed with a cigar..... not the bathroom you don't want to go imparting the wrong nuances on your cigars
I'm proud to say, I've made the people in neighboring port-a-potties actually dry heave

That's exactly where the temperature is where I have kept my coolers for the past couple of years and I have had no issues.
You don't want them to get too warm because of the beetle issue. As far as on the low end, I'm not sure what the magic number is. I'm guessing at some point the temperature will get to the point where it is so low that it will not hold humidity but I'm not sure what that number is on the low end. About all I can say is that I keep mine around 62* and it works great.
I think that the key is really consistency and stability. Fluctuations in temperature can lead to fluctuations in humidity which is going to be bad for your stash. Keeping them at a constant temperature will certainly help that.

I have heard that low temperatures hinder the aging process. Have you noticed any prolonged aging?
Right now I get readings from 65-74, I'm in the same boat. I think my stash might be getting moved to the basement soon as well, I'm just worried about moisture down there

I guess I'm not really sure since A) I've only had them at that temp for a little under 2 years and B) I haven't been on this slippery slope long enough to gain enough experience with aging. (basically still a newb in that area).
Maybe one of the other brothers with a little more aging experience could answer that?

My basement is finished and I run a dehumidifier in the summer months which basically keeps my RH in the 50-55 range. It generally runs a little drier than that in the winter so I really don't worry too much about high humidity. I would guess that as long as your basement humidity is not significantly higher that the RH in your humidors you should be OK.
My concern though would be if the basement got too damp and you start to get that "musty" smell which could eventually affect your stash. Basically that's the reason I run the dehumidifier in the summer (to keep the musty smell away).
