Yep, much like the Flor de las Antillas, just a few bumps up in strengthBump. Has anyone smoked one from the boxes that are beginning to arrive at tobacconists?
How was it? Going to a Pepin event tomorrow, looking forward to trying one out!Anyone else burned one yet? Just starting one now, lots of Pepin pepper to start.
That seems like kind of the vibe I've picked up on these from what others say (or don't say). Bummer.I had one yesterday and thought it was pretty good. Has some kick to it and decent flavor but its not a cigar I have to have
yeah, but realize it is a REGULAR PRODUCTION stick. we can get kinda jaded on here with all the cool stuff we hunt. something like this, on the shelves all the time, is a damn good thing. you don't HAVE to go a box deepo. but i think some people will want to.I had one yesterday and thought it was pretty good. for me (just burned my second stick (robo, then toro), it is a venn diagram between fausto, FdlA, and MF core line. which means big, pepin spice, stupid nice construction, and legs to age.
Ok this sold me on buying quite a few from this release and aging them. Sounds like they have done serious potential. Gonna grab sore next week.yeah, but realize it is a REGULAR PRODUCTION stick. we can get kinda jaded on here with all the cool stuff we hunt. something like this, on the shelves all the time, is a damn good thing. you don't HAVE to go a box deepo. but i think some people will want to.I had one yesterday and thought it was pretty good. try buying one or two, and keeping it in YOUR stash for a week or so. i personally had ZERO issues with mine. flawless burn and draw. then again, it could have been a bad stick, or box, i can't doubt you as i wasn't there...Had a hard time keeping it burning but overall great flavors and probably going to age very well.
Probably just needs a little rest in my humi. Will try another in a week. Have no doubt based on what I tasted that these should be another winner for Pepintry buying one or two, and keeping it in YOUR stash for a week or so. i personally had ZERO issues with mine. flawless burn and draw. then again, it could have been a bad stick, or box, i can't doubt you as i wasn't there...Had a hard time keeping it burning but overall great flavors and probably going to age very well.
