Hi there from central New Jersey! I was active on this forum a few years ago but all of my posts are gone, so I’m kind of a new guy.

I have been smoking since 1994 and have survived the late 90s boom, all of the garbage cigars that were rushed to market shortly thereafter, the smoking restrictions of the 2000s that made us seem like lepers, the SCHIP taxes, and now the premium cigar issue we are potentially all going to have to deal with, but I’m still here smoking away!

I got a lot of information from the brothers here a few years ago that helped me build a nice cigar room addition to my home, with a separate HVAC system and a ventilation system that keeps the room clear. Couldn’t have done it without the help I got here.

I am running a Montegue humidor because I was sick of trying to maintain a bunch of smaller humidors. It’s humidified by an Avallo Accumonitor system I picked up after speaking to the guys from Avallo right here in this group. I’ve been running it for over four years without a single problem. Excellent product.

I’ll smoke just about anything and am always willing to give a new stick a try. My day to day smoke is a Romeo & Julieta Bully, has been for years. I usually smoke about one stick a day, sometimes two. My last five cigars were a My Father No. 1, a Cain 460 maduro, a Cusano 18 maduro, an Oliva V double robusto maduro, and a Romeo & Julieta Toro.

I’m looking forward to connecting with some smokers in my area and some good conversations!

"welcome from AZ"

I have some family in AZ in Apache Junction. Took a ride B&M hunting while I was out there a few years ago and would up in one of the Churchill Cigar stores. Bought some nice sticks, and they treated me very well. Let me in to their members room on the house to sit and have a smoke. Good group of guys there.

Not even that far. Right across the river from Philly.
Nice! Have been meaning to make a cigar (and food) trip down there to check the Holts B&Ms, and have been trying to organize a guys dinner to Alma de Cuba and then head over to the Ashton Cigar Bar afterwards. Ever been to either? Worth the trip?

Haven't been to either, but definitely let me know what you think if you make the trip!
