Alarm Clocks

My wife keeps the alarm clock on her side. She wakes to the radio set really low. I have to have the actual alarm and she hates that, so she just wakes me up. She just got this Timex model that has a CD player, multiple alarm settings and nature sounds. The nature sounds are cheesey but she likes them. Unfortunately it has to go back because something's not working right. Of course the damn thing keeps going off at 6:30 in the AM with the alarm, of course AFTER the wife has gotten up, and BEFORE I normally get up. If she doesn't get that damn thing in the mail it's going to get smashed.

Ugh, I hate the iHome and any escalating alarm for that matter. Plus the LCD was too damn bright even on the lowest setting. I returned it pronto. I've got the old $10 cheapo Sony dream wave alarm clock. Does the job just fine.

I don't like the iHome either, but she loves it (and it sits on her side of the bed, so it's her call). But she has to put a stuffed animal in front of the LCD because it's so bright. LOL!

I use the Kramer internal clock method.
I just tell myself what time to wake up, and I usually wake up within 15 minutes of that time.
