So what do all you NY guys know and think about Purchase.... or the White Plains are in general...

Nothing certain yet... but there is a chance

Used to work right there. Purchace is in and around very upscale parts of Westchester. Westcheseter in general is very nice, but VERY expensive to live in.

Certain parts of White Plains are a little cheaper. White Plains, i guess, would be the part where West Chester starts to turn from upscale to more urban/small city feel. Lots of bars and things to do, plenty of transportation options.

About 20 minutes outside of NYC.

Yea, I know it is expensive so I would be looking to live somewhere in between the city and there, there will be an office in the City and one in Purchase...

but they are willing to pay all of my relo costs so it would not be that bad...

But as I said b4 we shall see what happens..

White Plains used to be the former HQ of General Foods. I had a office there. Very nice area and close communte to most of CT. Good airport.

White Plains isn't bad. If you move there, I see some tri-state herfs coming up for you.
