Unrepentant Hoarder
Was cleaning up my toys after a fun Independence Day at a friend's farm shredding computers and steel plates with all sorts of goodies. Then I noticed this...
Mother of all baffle strikes. 8" Piston-driven upper (registered as a pistol here in good ol' WA) with a thread-on suppressor (AAC Ranger2) that reaches 800F+ after 10rds. Mistake #1 was probably not dumping all the water out after dunking it. Mistake #2 was feeding it less than 68gr 556. Big fat keyhole through the end of the can. All the baffles are intact and the can still does its job. I'll just think of it as "air holes for speed" now I guess. :argh:
