After moving all of my tobacco into mason jars, there were some odds and ends that didn't make it into the jars, small pinches mostly, and landed on the tray I was using to catch. I then transferred all of that baccy into a new jar. I'm smoking a hodgepodge of all baccys I have. Not great, but, not half bad.
I have a a bail top jar I labeled potpourri. All left overs and blends I don't care for go in there. On those days I can't figure out what to smoke I dip into that jar. Every bowl is just a little bit different.

Tonight I finally mustered up the courage and confidence to light up that Big Ben that Dave sent me in the noob trade. It's smoking beautifully.

In it, I have Coyote classic.

Pelican in the newly restored Comoy. I do believe I've found my new favorite pipe. Who wants the rest of my pipes?

Just kidding

glad that briar turned out to treat you so well, dave. o)

now, getting away from the molto from earlier, my GG poker with a 50/50 blend of LNF and MacB mixture flake:

STILL trying to bite the shit out of me, but the stokkebye has tamed it. a little. AND, the heaping helping of just straight tobacco flavors are helping me get over starting the day with dessert. o)

Trying the Molto Dolce in the mini cob tonight. Mine is probably drier that many on here, as UtahRootBeer sent it to me in the newbie pipe sampler trade.

It's smoking pretty well for me. At least as much as can be expected in a mini cob. These things are difficult for me to keep going no matter the baccy.

Edit: I'm not implying Utah sent me dried out baccy. It's just been living in a baggy for a good while. :)

I have had superlative luck with walker briar works forever stems. honestly just have one, and rotate the bowls.

MM legend is a good straightforward shape, but the Country Gentleman has a hardwood heel, and may last longer. or by a bag of MM seconds and pitch them like used solo cups.

^this. I have a traditional straight and a churchwarden stem from WBW. Great pieces and pretty cheap with tons of options. Made me actually have some respect for my cobs and they smoke so much better it's not funny.
