I always read about the different types ways to store your huge stockpiles of cigars... Coolidors, wineadors, Tupperware... Always interesting to see all the ingenious ways you've found.

But I've always just kind or shook my head, "there's no way I'd ever have that many sticks on hand", I told myself. .. Well, I ran into the issue of not being able to close the lid on my 50 count humidor yesterday. You have all been a terrible influence! Luckily, my buddy's wife had her baby shower yesterday, so the fellas "helped" me clear some space.

The day has come... I need to find more room! Probably just a tuppador for now. Perhaps I'll find a sale on coolers once it starts getting colder here!

The scary part? I haven't even started doing box purchases yet 😱

A little advice… don't go too small just to have to buy again. Better to have too much space than to have to buy something bigger in a couple more months.
The slope is pretty slippery and as soon as the brothers find out you have a little space it might get filled quick.

In December I had two fifty counts. Now two coolers; one large, one small.

Take the advice I got when I started the cooler, build the walk in now, save money later!

Haha thanks for the advice. I imagine the tupperdor will be stolen from the kitchen cabinets... A Coolidor would be a bit larger, probably much larger than needed for a while. The walk in will have to wait until I own my own house

And I'll be sure to keep those purchases top secret haha.

I went with a large cooler and a bunch of Cedar trays. Plus if you outgrow the cooler in need to get a larger cooler you can still use the smaller cooler for beer.

Yup. What these brothers said...

I went with the large 150 QT cooler and I still have lots of room in there to continue to grow my collection.

Didn't cost me much more to go with the large cooler but I will have it for a while without needing to expand again soon.

Haven't crossed that bridge yet. Built my "hybrid humidor" as my first humidor. Easy 350-400 cigar capacity with room to spare. Started to fill up, so I boxed and sent out about 100 cigars. Plenty of space remains and haven't found any irresistible deals lately.

But yes, if you come to this, or really any cigar forum, with a 50 count and expect it to be sufficient, you're fooling yourself.
