Hey all,

Just defected from another forum that seems to have vanished.... Been smoking maybe 6 or 8 years, starting when my ex's dad gave me a Davidoff. It was a hard act to follow, but I lived in Europe for a long time so I smoked Habanos and never really bothered getting into cigars like it was a hobby. Only been back in the US since late last year, and am enjoying exploring all these unfamiliar brands. I like a pretty wide variety of flavor profiles and strengths, but think I am fast becoming a Fuente whore....

Spend a couple of days a month in SF for work, but haven't' done more than look at a couple of pretty pricey B&M's near downtown, is there a good place to go and smoke?

Primo and Cigar Shop downtown are both really expensive. Stag Tobacco out on West Alameda is worth checking out but I like Santa Fe Cigar Co. Really friendly and lower prices than the other guys. They do have a cool lounge but they charge $100 a month to use it. Too steep for me. Primo will let you smoke cigars you buy from them in their lounge.
