Anyone here use bnb tobacco? I found a groupon for 50 dollars for 100 dollars store credit. Was wandering if bnb tobacco is par with the top cigar store sites.

I've done it twice - waiting on my 2nd order now. Some people have had issues with damaged sticks (especially Padron and Aging Room) but that was a few months back, and though communication can be a little slow they made good every time. Seems like a small operation but an honest one, and they have some good stuff (Fuente, Kristoff, Diamond Crown, Davidoff, Zino, Avo, etc.). Go for it!

TIP: linger for a while at checkout, and either a 10% off or free shipping pop-up should appear. I guess the system thinks you're about to change your mind and tries to lure you back in!

I buy it once a year, and last year got a Savinelli pipe... this year a Peterson.

I've heard some folks on other boards have had issues with customer service and damaged sticks, or stuff being out of stock after the order is placed. Generally, buy it, let it sit for a month or two, then use it. Better service and better selection after the rush is over and they've restocked.

Only caveat to this is don't wait until the last minute to use it either. There will be a mad rush to use before expiration and result in the same stock issues. (common Groupon problem)

I just got one a couple weeks ago. Had 2 items backordered, went back and forth about replacements for a couple days then get an email saying my original order shipped. Received everything with no problems.

Mine just arrived:

30 cigars total for about $40 (I had a $10 off first groupon thing, too). The Don Carlos with this deal come out to about $3 each - a steal!

I just bought and used the Groupon. $100 gift cert for $49. Bought a box of AB American sungrown and a fiver of Padron Ambassador Maduro for a total of $105. The free shipping on the box of AB's was voided by the groupon, but if you try to close the tab in your browser they give you free shipping to stay. So the grand total was $54 out of pocket for 25 cigars that I really really like. Assuming they show up in good shape I'll be blown away by the value of this deal.

My experience was perfect. BNB contacted me with regrets that they couldn't fulfill my order due to a shortage of maduro ambassadors. I told them I'd pay the 3 bucks extra for the Churchill and the order went out that day. They arrived today and the packaging was on par with other vendors. The AB box is sealed and the 5 Padrons are flawless specimens. Couldn't be happier with this deal, and I will be ordering from BNB again in the future.
