This is probably the decision I struggle with the most....smoking that last stick that you know will be hard to get again. ie limited editions, discontinued lines,
aged sticks that are just too $$$ or impossible to find. Sometimes I wait for that perfect moment, the right beverage, the right company, or the right mood.
Then that sticks enjoyed and only memories (or a few notes) will remain.

What do the rest of you do?

Agree. That's what I've done with some of my most HTF sticks, and conversely how I've been lucky enough to smoke some htf stuff by others sharing with me. The spirit of BOTL...

I have bombed a few. But when I get that one off stick gifted to me, I have been saving it, looking at it, wondering what it would be like. Now my new mission with smokes like that is, 'the sooner you smoke it, the sooner you will go crazy seeking out more'. I am now going crazy for a few that I just looked at and wondered about before.

After several years you'll end up with a humidor full of "last sticks". You smoke em and realize there will always be another.
