I thought I fire up a Rocky Patel Cuban Blend tonight while watching baseball.

It's a darn good smoke. :smokingbo

What are the other fellas smoking tonight?

I just lit an 01 VR Classico graciously given to me by Shawn. Pre-light, it had a wonderful aroma and perfect draw. In just the first few puffs I can tell this is going to be a great cigar. I haven't had too many VR's but I sense more in my future.
Thanks Shawn!

Finally back from the road. Cut my trip short and skipped Omaha. I smoked a very nice 05 RASS when I got my truck at the airport and then a 97 Boli PC while sitting by our pond and watrefall watching the sun go down in SoCal. Good to be home. Looks like I just missed the snow.

That was indeed a great cigar. An hour and ten minutes of pleasure!

Brian, did you just quote yourself for some reason?

Same box as before, but was a harsh Boli PC from 2003 on ride home. Was a bad egg I guess. :dunno:

Also a plugged RyJ Petite Julia on way to work.

Glad you liked it Tom. I hope the remaining are half as good as the bunch I smoked recently. They are without a doubt a top 3 of mine, bordering on the best and most complex cigar I have tried to date.

I tried a RG PE rescently also. Was good, but will be better in 6 months.

I've decided to go through some singles I had and happened to pick your bomb as a starting point. All gone except three

Good idea  I do the same thing to purge the singles and get to know more of what I like. I have most of yours still, but will seek a few out for the weekend.

Um... What did I smoke...
OH!

1985 Party Charlotte that was excellent. Thanks, you know who!

Quite sweet with mild earth. Minor sweet spice & lots of tobacco flavor rounded it out. Not quite to that "finesse" stage, but getting close. Very well maintained as I would expect it to be from this fine gent. Thanks again!
